Ten minutes. One stage. A whole world of stories!

AWTCO presents SHORT TAKES, a lively festival of 10-minute plays from local and international playwrights, bringing together an entertaining mix of comedy, drama, romance, surprises and unexpected twists.

Each play tells a complete story in just ten minutes, with a fresh cast of characters, a different setting and something new around every corner.

From a romantic encounter where one kiss could change everything, to a golf course where secrets are best left buried, the stories promise plenty of laughs, intrigue and a few surprises.

There’s even a battle between the voices in one woman’s head over what’s for dinner, and a rather alarming confession that might not be quite what it seems!

Short Takes celebrates the creativity of playwrights and the talents of our local performers, with an evening of bite-sized theatre where you never quite know what’s coming next.

Whether you love a good laugh, a clever twist or a story that stays with you long after the curtain falls, there’s something for everyone.

Short plays. Big stories. Great entertainment!  Bar open from 6:30
