About Us

Albury Wodonga Theatre Company (AWTCo) is a registered charity, run 100% by volunteers, advancing participation in and appreciation of theatre and the performing arts across the Albury-Wodonga region.

We provide opportunities for children, young people and adults of all backgrounds, abilities and experience levels to participate in theatre, develop performance and production skills, learn from experienced theatre practitioners, volunteer, create and perform.

Since 1967, AWTCo has been bringing people together through live performance. Our activities include major musical and theatrical productions, youth theatre, young adult theatre, community singing and other cultural and creative programs. Whether someone wants to perform on stage, work behind the scenes, learn new skills, volunteer or simply enjoy great local theatre, there is a place for them at AWTCo.

We are committed to providing a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging broad community participation and helping remove barriers that may prevent people from becoming involved in the performing arts.

At its heart, AWTCo is about more than putting on shows. It is about creating opportunities, building skills and confidence, forming connections and giving people across our community the chance to be part of making theatre.
