Albury Wodonga Theatre Company Presents Velveteen Rabbit

Albury Wodonga Theatre Company is proud to present this much loved children’s story this July school holidays.  This adaptation is very faithful to the story, message and themes of M Williams’ beautiful bedtime tale, which tells the story of a stuffed rabbit made of velveteen fur, and a young girl called Bonnie, who loved it. The story is set in 1920s London, England and features a cast of characters that includes members of the girl’s family, a Nursery Magic Fairy, a trusted Nanny, wild rabbits, Lucy the Doll, Toy soldier and a whole closet full of toys. The Velveteen Rabbit explores the power of love to transform.  Perfect for adults and children, you will love this musical in the intimate spaces of Albury Wodonga Theatre Company’s Olive St Theatre.
